David is Founder and CEO at Assurely, an insurtech platform that develops risk products for rapidly-growing companies so they can continue innovating and scaling their business.David is an experienced insurance professional primarily stemming from a successful career within the retail insurance brokerage industry. He was an innovator there and had a track-record of bringing new tech and product solutions to changing industries and high-growth corporate customers. David previously spent numerous years at USI Insurance Services, a leading insurance brokerage firm, selling and developing insurance products for enterprise clients. Since 2007, David has been widely viewed as one of the rising stars within the marketplace and a future leader in the industry.David extended his experience to build new companies. He was involved in all aspects of the startup operation at Heuro LLC with a heavy emphasis on product & market strategy, strategic partnerships, and setting the foundation for a scalable infrastructure. David successfully supported Heuro in securing high-profile enterprise data and distribution partnerships and being acknowledged as one of the most exciting health tech startups in the industry. Prior to USI, David owned and operated his own business while he played hockey professionally. He received a B.A. in Marketing and Sociology from Providence College. Originally from Minnesota, David currently lives in New York City.
