Craig serves as a Special Advisor to Hypothesis. As the founder of Arbor Lane Investments, Craig is currently a private investor in emerging growth equity companies across the consumer, media, and technology industries. With 30 of years of experience as a Board member, Advisor, investor and operating executive, he has partnered with more than 50 companies throughout his career across the entire investment cycle from startups to leveraged buyouts.
Craig was the CFO for disruptive health tech company, Heal, from 2016 – 2018. From 2011 – 2015, he was a Partner & Managing Director with Star Avenue Capital, LLC, a consumer growth equity investment firm partnered with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), a leading global talent and sports agency. From 1998 – 2010 Craig was with Banc of America Capital Investors (BACI), the predecessor entity to private equity firm Ridgemont Equity Partners, where he was a Partner & Managing Director and served as Co-Head of the Media & Communications practice. While with BACI, Craig served on numerous boards and deployed more than $500M of capital across 3 funds. From 1990 – 1996 Craig was with Turner Broadcasting International, Inc. (now part of AT&T) where he last served as Managing Director, Latin America, leading the organization’s Mexico City office.
Craig holds a B.A. ’90 from Duke University, where he played varsity lacrosse, as well as an M.B.A. ’98 from Harvard Business School.
Craig is an avid golfer, tennis player, and photographer and has traveled extensively throughout Asia, Africa, India, and Latin America.
Craig has lived in New York, Atlanta, Charlotte, Boston, San Juan Puerto Rico, Mexico City, and Los Angeles.
